Terms of Reference

On 27th February, 2012 the Attorney General requested that the Law Reform Commission undertake a review of the law relating to conditional or contingency fee agreements with a view to its reform. This referral was made pursuant to the case of Latoya Barrett v the Attorney General (CICA 19 OF 2012] in which the Honourable Justices called for an examination of the law relating to conditional fee agreements in the Cayman Islands.
