Welcome to the Joy M.Tibbetts Adult Training Centre (JMTATC) – A pioneering initiative for adults with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Adult Learning Support Network (ALSN).
At the Joy M.Tibbetts Adult Training Centre (JMTATC), we address the critical gaps in support for adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities on Cayman Brac. We are the first to offer structured, comprehensive programs tailored to enhance life skills and community integration within Cayman Brac.
Our Services
Empowering Through Education and Support:
- Recreational Activities to foster social connections.
- Social Skills Development to enhance daily interactions.
- Vocational Training for employment readiness.
- Rehabilitation Services to promote independence in daily living.
What are Special Education Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)? Special Education Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) refer to a diverse range of conditions that may include developmental disabilities, cognitive impairments, physical disabilities, and mental health challenges.
